Greetings from Locked-Down Newcastle

Hello and thank you for taking the time to access my brand-new blog. I hope you are all doing okay in your various lockdown ‘facilities’ and that you’re staying safe and occupying yourselves with lots of positive, music related activities.

First off, a general disclaimer, I have to tell you that this my first experience of blogging so bear with me, there may be teething problems. Secondly, I understand that you are extremely busy getting your work completed and you may feel that there are better places to get your information and tips. That’s fine, this is intended as a resource for you to dip in to, don’t feel that there is any requirement for you to log on regularly (or at all!), just be aware that this information is there for you if you think it’s helpful.

I’m aware many of you are at an advanced stage with your various projects. As such, the first few posts will be designed to discuss the basic principles of mixing. As things develop, the idea is that we can discuss the issues raised by using the comments section. This will also allow you to request new content (if required) which can be tailored to your individual needs.

I hope you find some of the information useful.

Speak soon and stay safe,

Ian.
